UBCO is planning to run a Jr Heat, Club program this spring with teams at the U13, U15 and U17 age groups, both boys and girls. These teams will be under the sole supervision/direction of the UBCO athletic department.
Players from throughout the Okanagan valley are welcome to tryout out for these teams.

Registration for our Spring 2012 Legends League will be open starting January 1, 2012 and will only be accepted via our online registration service.

This Spring League is open for girls and boys in grades 6-12. League groupings will depend on registration numbers. Teams are not selected based on where the players live. Rather they are selected at an evaluation camp with equitable team strength being the goal.

Evaluations will take place the week of March 5. All players MUST ATTEND THE SCHEDULED EVALUATION NIGHT FOR THEIR GRADE. The dates/times/locations will be confirmed shortly and posted here. Players can apply to play up one age group if desired. In this case, the player must show up at the desired age group evaluation night and let the convener know that they have applied to play up. Players will only be allowed to play up if there is enough room and if a majority of the coaches present at the evaluation camp approve. Players applying to play up will be notified that night if they have been approved. If not, they must show up at the evaluation camp for their age group. Grade 5 players may register to play in the grade 6 division so long as there is room and a majority of the coaches present at the evaluation camp agree that the player is capable of playing up. Players who register after March 1 will be waitlisted.  League play will start the week of March 26. Playoffs will finish the week of June 4. The Registration cut off date is March 1, 2012.

The cost for Legends 2012 will be $195.00

Teams are selected at an evaluation camp with one evening evaluation per league.

Based on the success of the grade 8 boys trial Club Division in 2011, the KMBA is considering expanding the division for the 2012 season. Details on available divisions/gender and format are expected to be announced in February.

There may be an additional fee for Club Divisions. All players, regardless of whether they choose to play in a Club Division, if offered,  must register for Legends house leagues.
